Your privacy and the safety of your data is really important to us, and we’re committed to using the information we collect in a fair and transparent way. We want to help, and we don’t want to be a nuisance. When you browse our site, we collect some anonymous information using cookies and Google Analytics. This information can’t be linked back to you. We use this information to optimise our site and provide a better experience. When you request further information, we ask you for your consent to provide some personal information, which you can refuse if you like. We do this to make sure we provide the best service. We also use the information you give us to send you offers and information. You can unsubscribe from anything we send to you and/or ask to be removed from our database completely any time you like. The detail – Anonymous information – when you browse our site

What do we collect?

Generally the only data we’ll collect is anonymous, aggregated information about how you use our site. This includes things like pages viewed and pages that caused people to leave. Because this information is aggregated, we can’t match it back to any one person in particular, and we can’t match it to your personal information if you choose to provide it.

How do we collect it?

Why do we do it and what do we do with it?

We collect this information to create measurable, statistical reports on our website activity. This lets us see which areas of our site people are most interested in, and helps us identify areas for improvement. It’s a vital part of making sure everyone visiting us online gets the best possible experience.

Personal – when you request further information, what do we collect?

We only collect personal data when you specifically opt-in to it, by requesting further information from us. It’s usually things like your name, email address or areas of interest.

How do we collect it?

Any time we want to ask for some personal information, we’ll do so through a clearly labelled form.

Why do we do it and what do we do with it?

We collect this information so we can provide you with the services you’ve asked for. For example, if you want to request further information via email, we’re going to need your email address. We also use your information you provide through a consent form to send you marketing information we think you might be interested in – like email offers, competitions, surveys and newsletters. Whether we do this by post, email or telephone is up to you and can be changed at any time, you can also unsubscribe at any time.

How we may use your personal information

We will use the personal information you provide to us:

  • To supply a Course to you
  • To process your payment for a Course;
  • If you agreed to this during the enrolment process, to inform you about similar Courses that we provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us

  • If you are a sponsored student, we will share your data, course attendance and test results with your employer or any other party responsible for paying your fees
  • With any one of  ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW as the relevant professional body for your Course
  • With other companies or organisations we have hired to perform services on our behalf including, without limitation, training services, carrying out market research, facilitating some aspects of our site and services, managing our database, contacting you, sending e-mail and fulfilling your requests. These other companies may be supplied with or have access to your personal data solely for the purpose of providing these services to us or on our behalf. We are the data controller and will remain accountable for the personal information

We may disclose personal information, as permitted or required by law, and to:

  • respond to inquiries or requests from governmental or public authorities;
  • protect our rights, privacy, safety or property;
  • permit us to pursue available remedies or limit damages that we may sustain; and
  • enforce our agreements, including without limitation our enrolment terms and conditions.

Can I opt out?
