Hi again fellow students,
I’m writing this on the eve of the one-week-to-go-before-exam-day mark.. So how do I feel??Well, considerably better than I would have had I not decided to try a new approach with this revision course. I think the main difference has been to my mind set.Having spent the last three days with peers all in the same boat and all equipped with the same support from a really great tutor, I’m more confident now than I’ve felt before any of my past exams. The three question practice focused days combined with the personalised feedback I’ve had so far have helped me go from pretty shakey to quite secure in my exam technique and knowledge application. Now, as I ready myself to wake up to the day; the milestone that always used to fill me with panic – “only one week left to cram !!” – I actually feel quite relaxed. My last day at RBS concludes with a mock exam where an external marker comes in to mark our answers as we do them, so I’ll get the feedback straight away. A great way to prepare for the real thing and at least now I know one thing; I’ll be ready for you Monday the 6th of June!!Good luck to all of you about to take on your own milestones!Signing off
