The shortlist for the British Accountancy Awards 2016 was announced this week, with some very familiar faces leading the way, alongside some promising smaller enterprises too. We’re particularly pleased to see some of our clients and partners being recognised for their great work, so we wish them all the best come the final ceremony in November. For those that haven’t seen it yet, the full list is shared below.
With results and awards and shortlists and “best ofs” starting to become quite prominent at this time of year, it can be easy to get disheartened and think you might never make it to the dizzy heights that some of these individuals and firms are achieving. But just remember: none of them made it overnight, and it can take years of hard work and dedication to be recognised at this level. Simply qualifying puts you in an already elite field of professionals – something you should feel very proud of – and we’re here to support you in achieving your best in your professional qualifications and future career. One step at a time is always the best policy.
If you’re talented, driven and want to see your name on a trophy in the not too distant future, check out the resources in our Sstudent Zone, designed to help you fulfil your potential.
The awards
More than 20 senior accountancy figures take part in a several-stage process to find the most innovative and best-performing practices and individuals worthy of recognition. Details of the judges can be found here. Organisers of the awards this year have looked at ways to evolve them to meet the needs of the profession, and new Innovation categories have been added – which have proved very popular. Here are all the shortlisted entrants for the 2016 awards.
